Trader Joe's in Peachtree Corners Robbed By Masked Gunmen

The three robbers made off with more than $2,300, according to police.

PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA — Masked men carrying guns broke into the Trader Joe's in Peachtree Corners, stealing more than $2,300, police say.

The robbery happened shortly after 9:30 p.m., when the store closed on Sunday, according to Gwinnett County Police spokesman Cpl. Deon Washington.

The three robbers wore masks and had at least two weapons — a handgun and a shotgun, Washington said.

The crime was under investigation Wednesday and the police report on it still being finalized, according to Washington.
