Turtle Power: Pond at Environmental Center Featured on Nat Geo Wild
"Pond Stars," featuring the GEHC, premieres Tuesday.

The Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Centerβs turtle pond is going nationwide this week on the National Geographic Wild Channel.
The pond located at the main entrance of the GEHC in Buford is featured in the premiere of βPond Stars,β a reality show about a Chicago-based company that travels the country installing ponds at businesses and homes.
The show will highlight the spring construction of the centerβs turtle pond, which, by the way, is home to βBubba,β the resident red eared slider turtle, along with six other turtles. The pond is use as a teaching tool showing how native Georgia turtles live in their habitat.
