Playgrounds Upgraded at Two Peachtree Corners Parks

New playground equipment was installed in two of Gwinnett County's parks located in the city.

 

and parks, both located in Peachtree Corners now have new playground equipment thanks to 2005 SPLOST funds.

The new equipment is part of an on-going upgrade of the county's parks said Grant Guess, Project Administration Division Director with Gwinnett Parks and Recreation.

The new playground equipment was installed at the Jones Bridge Park in January, and two playgrounds located at Pinckneyville Park's soccer complex were installed the latter part of 2011. The total cost for the equipment was $290,000 said Guess.

The playground at the , also located in Peachtree Corners, has not been upgraded. The three county parks located in the city are among the 45 parks that the county operates.

This year marks the 25th year that the Gwinnett Parks and Recreation have been in operation.
