Verizon Wireless Opens New Store in Peachtree Corners

Verizon Wireless has opened a new state-of-the-art store in Peachtree Corners, the company said in a press release Tuesday.

The store, located at 5150 Peachtree Parkway, opened Oct. 28 with an “innovative Smart Store layout,” that caters to customer needs, the company said.

An official grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony is set on Nov. 7 at 11 a.m. with the Southwest Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce.

“We’re excited to bring the latest and most hands-on wireless retail experience to the Peachtree Corners community and to expand our retail presence in Georgia,” says Jonathan LeCompte,president of Verizon Wireless’ Georgia/Alabama Region. “Verizon’s new smart store layout showcases the wide assortment of wireless technology designed to simplify and enhance our daily lives.”

The store’s layout includes unique “mobile lifestyle zones” where customers can interact with products, and see demos of wireless devices, accessories and apps that fit customers’ interests and needs. These zones include Get Fit, Amplify It, Home and On the Go and Customize It.

The location is Verizon’s 64th store in Georgia.

As part of the ceremony, Verizon Wireless will present a $1,000 HopeLine grant to the Ahimsa House.
