To celebrate November as the National Adopt a Senior Pet Month, Furkids has waived all ’ adoption fees for dogs age 8 and older.

Buster is a sweet boy with a frisky side, but he is now ready for a retirement home. Buster loves to relax with you and be loved. He also loves to lay on his Kuranda bed, sun bathe and snack on treats (especially Greenies which the staff buys just for him!)

Buster needs a special home with no other pets and no children. He also needs a home with an owner who is comfortable reading dog behavior. Buster isn’t a bad dog - far from it. He is a staff favorite!

He loves people and attention, but he can be possessive of toys and treats. We believe that Buster was not treated well earlier in life. Trainers think toys and treats were taken away from him his entire life, which causes him to hold onto his toys and treats for dear life.

Buster is very smart and highly trainable, and we are working with Atlanta Dog Trainer to help him overcome his quirks. Buster is loved and cared for at our shelter, but we want more for him.
