The Waiting is Over: Sprouts Farmers Market Opens in Peachtree Corners
Mayor, City Council were on hand for Wednesday ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Sprouts Farmers Market officially opened on Wednesday, Aug. 20.

Crowds eager to see and shop in the new store queued up for the 7 a.m. opening in Peachtree Corners.
City leaders had the chance to see the store on Tuesday before its official opening and joined store staff
in celebration with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

“It’s very impressive, there’s lots of fresh produce,” said Mayor Mike Mason. “We’re happy Sprouts
selected Peachtree Corners as a location to open one of its new stores.”
The Peachtree Corners store is the third store to open this summer in the metro area. A fourth store is
set to open in Johns Creek in September.
The 25,000 square-foot store sells fresh produce, bulk foods, household items, meat, seafood dairy
products, baked goods, household items and other products. The new store also offers a selection of
beer and wine.
“We are pleased to open our third Atlanta-area store in Peachtree Corners and are delighted at the
enthusiastic welcome we have received from the community,” said Donna Egan, Director of Corporate
Communications.
