Warrant Sweep in Gwinnett Nets 73 Arrests
The Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office said 154 officers participated in the Sept. 10-11 operation.

A two-day warrant sweep this week in Gwinnett County netted 73 arrests, the sheriffβs office said Friday.
Officers also served 106 arrest warrants in the Sept. 10-11 sweep, which included 154 officers from the sheriffβs office, Gwinnett Felony Probation and Gwinnett Parole.
βWarrant service requires a lot of preparation and a lot of knocking and talking,β GCSO Field Operations Commander Maj. Kirk Williamson said in a press release. βThis operation was particularly successful and we appreciate the efforts of our deputies and the Gwinnett Felony Probation and Gwinnett Parole officers.β

The sheriffβs officeβs Field Operations Division serves around 3,000 warrants per year, accordin to the press release.
