Weekend Weather: Plenty of Sun, But Storms Still Possible

Of course, there’s a chance for showers and thunderstorms this weekend. It is still summer, after all.

But the National Weather Service says things should be mostly dry this weekend in Peachtree Corners. Rain chances are 20 percent or less and high temps are forecast to be only in the high 80’s.

• Friday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 86. East wind around 5 mph.
• Friday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 69. East wind around 5 mph becoming calm.
• Saturday: A 10 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 5pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 87. Calm wind becoming east around 5 mph.
• Saturday Night: A 10 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 69. Northeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm.
• Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 88. Calm wind becoming southeast around 5 mph in the afternoon.
