Weekend Weather: Rain Fills the Forecast

There might have been more than one Christmas wish for snow in Georgia. Though snow might not be in the forecast, but we will be getting wet.

The National Weather Service in Peachtree City is predicting scattered to widespread showers from Saturday to Monday.

The best chance for rain? Beginning Saturday night, mainly after 8 p.m., continuing Sunday with the chance for thunderstorms.

There will be 1-2 inches across north and west central Georgia, with lesser amounts elsewhere in the forecast area.
