Wesleyan School Student Nabs Nickelodeon Gig

Wesleyan School student, Ricardo Hurtado, has nabbed a role on Nickelodeon’s newest TV Show, School of Rock.

Hurtado, an active member of Wesleyan’s Wolf Players, performed in school’s The Good Doctor, Into The Woods, and Witness for the Prosecution before Hollywood came calling. The Lawrenceville teen was interested in continuing his acting career, so performed in a showcase before a group of agents and management companies. They agreed he had talent, so invited him to an audition in LA for the role of the drummer, Freddy.

Wesleyan’s theater department, and the entire school community, are thrilled for Hurtado.
