Wesleyan Student Receives American Water Polo Scholar Athlete Award

The Peachtree Corners teen was recognized for his accomplishments in the 2015-2016 school year.

Wesleyan School’s Reed Thomas has just been named a recipient of the American Water Polo Scholar Athlete Award.

Nationwide, 198 student-athletes were recognized with American Water Polo Scholar-Athlete honors for the 2015-16 academic year. To be considered for this exceptional student-athlete recognition, students had to excel in the classroom and the sport by achieving at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) and playing in an AWP event, league or tournament.

Thomas, who is now heading in to his senior year, is a Peachtree Corners resident. The entire Wesleyan community is thrilled to see such a wonderful student and athlete receive this well-deserved recognition.
