Woman Stabbed To Death In Peachtree Corners

PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA — Police are investigating the death of a woman who was apparently stabbed to death in Peachtree Corners.

Gwinnett County Police were called just before 2 a.m. Saturday to 6800 Springs Lane. Once inside an apartment there, they found the woman's body, with what appeared to be stab wounds.

The exact cause of death remained under investigation Saturday morning.

According to police, the 911 call was originally received in Clayton County, but transferred to Gwinnett. The identity of the 911 caller remains under investigation, police said.

Police were withholding the woman's identity while family members were contacted Saturday.
