NFCC job fair connects local employers and job seekers (appenmedia.com) — Roswell job seekers can connect directly with major local employers at North Fulton Community Charities' free job fair on Oct. 6 at the Barbara Duffy Center on Elkins Road. The nonprofit is also offering two free September workshops in Roswell to sharpen resumes, practice elevator pitches, and learn strategies for making strong impressions with recruiters.
2. 11 Georgia Places Where Pieces of Towns That Almost Disappeared Are Still Standing (myfamilytravels.com) — Old Mill Park in Roswell offers residents an easy walk to a covered bridge, waterfall, and the ruins of once-massive cotton mills along Vickery Creek. The Michael O'Neal Singers Present FEEL THE SPIRIT Featuring Soloist Indra Thomas (broadwayworld.com) — Roswell music fans can hear The Michael O'Neal Singers launch their 2026–27 season with "Feel the Spirit" at Roswell United Methodist Church on Sunday, October 18, at 3 p.m. Featuring soprano Indra Thomas and John Rutter's powerful cycle of spirituals, the concert explores the endurance and emotional depth of African American spirituals in a moving choral setting.
