FREE Halloween Fun House for kids 8 and under at East Roswell Park Rec Center on Oct. 23rd (atlantaonthecheap.com) — Families in Roswell can bring kids 8 and under to a free indoor Halloween Fun House at East Roswell Park Recreation Center on Friday, Oct. 23, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Expect face painting, magic shows, crafts, inflatables, games, and safe trick-or-treating, with costumes encouraged and adults required to stay with children.
2. Alive in Roswell back Oct. 15 with vendors, music and more (appenmedia.com) — Alive in Roswell returns Thursday, Oct. 15, from 5 to 9 p.m. on Canton Street and at the Roswell Antiques and Interiors lot, with vendors, food trucks, music, and shopping. Expect Canton Street to be closed to vehicles between Highway 9 and Norcross Street as local artists, nonprofits, and businesses welcome neighbors for this free community festival.
3. Regional museum group recognizes Mimms Museum Apple exhibit (appenmedia.com) — Roswell's Mimms Museum of Technology and Art has earned regional recognition from the Southeastern Museums Conference for its Apple-focused exhibit. The permanent "iNSPIRE: 50 Years of Innovation from Apple" display at 5000 Commerce Parkway showcases early computers, iPods, iPhones, iPads, prototypes, and design-inspired installations that trace the tech giant's evolution over five decades.
4. Viva Roswell brings Dueling Latin Tenors concert Oct. 11 (appenmedia.com) — Roswell residents can catch the Dueling Latin Tenors concert at the Roswell Cultural Arts Center on Sunday, Oct. 11, at 4 p.m., with tickets starting at $17. Presented as part of the Viva Roswell celebration, the show features two acclaimed vocalists performing operatic and traditional Latin music accompanied by pianist José Manuel Garcia.
