Screening Event Compatriot Jamie Ruff (Center) On July 22, the Piedmont Chapter participated in a special screening event for the Marked! series in partnership with Georgia Public Broadcasting and the Martha Stewart Bulloch Chapter, DAR. The SAR Piedmont Chapter Color Guard represented the chapter during the event, while Chapter Registrar Jaime Ruff took part in the discussion panel following the screening. The evening also provided an excellent opportunity to introduce the Sons of the American Revolution to members of the community. Chapter members staffed an information table throughout the event, where four prospective new members stopped by to learn more about the SAR and the Piedmont Chapter. The Sons of the American Revolution is a national patriotic, historical and educational society whose members are direct descendants of the patriots who earned our independence.
