10 New Trees Planted At Lost Corner Preserve

The trees were planted by UPS volunteers to commemorate the more than 10,000 UPS Circle of Honor drivers.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — Representatives from UPS, Sandy Springs Conservancy, Friends of Lost Corner and the Arbor Day Foundation gathered Wednesday at Lost Corner Preserve for a dedication ceremony of 10 newly planted trees and a bronze plaque.

The trees were planted in celebration of Earth Day (April 22), and as part of UPS’s ongoing, five-year commitment to plant 15 million trees worldwide by the end of 2020.

The trees were planted in a circular shape by a group of UPS volunteers in order to commemorate the more than 10,000 UPS Circle of Honor drivers, men and women who have achieved 25 years of accident-free driving. Achieving Circle of Honor is one of the highest honors at UPS. This esteemed position is only achieved after a driver has driven 25 years without a single avoidable accident.
