18-Year-Old Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested By FBI

The FBI believes the woman is behind several bank robberies, including the June 26 robbery of PNC Bank's Prado branch in Sandy Springs.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- The woman federal agents believed to be behind a slew of bank robberies committed around metro Atlanta has been arrested, the FBI Atlanta Field office said Friday.

Christian Ware, 18, of Memphis, Tennessee, and Tremell Adams, 30 of Kennesaw, were both arrested on Thursday, Aug. 11 on warrants obtained by Atlanta police on bank robberies taking place between June 28 and July 8.

The pair were arrested at a home in the 1800 block of Hazelwood drive in Marietta, and more charges are anticipated to be filed against Ware and Adams, the FBI said (SIGN UP: Get Patch's Daily Newsletter and Real Time News Alerts. Or, if you have an iPhone, download the free Patch app).

Adams' role in the robberies has not been made clear by the FBI.

The robbery spree began Friday, June 16 when the female suspect walked into Wells Fargo Bank at 620 Roswell Street in Marietta, approached a teller and presented a demand note announcing the robbery, the FBI previously told Patch. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the alleged robber left the business.

Ten days later on Monday, June 26, the woman entered PNC Bank at 5640 Roswell Road in Sandy Springs around 4:62 p.m. and presented a demand note announcing the hold-up, the agency added. She left the establishment with an undisclosed amount of cash.

On Wednesday, June 28, the suspect entered Chase Bank at 2002 Howell Mill Road in Atlanta and presented a note announcing the robbery. As with previous incidents, she obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and left the bank without further incident.

A day later around 11:55 a.m. Thursday, June 29, the suspect -- this time sporting dyed red hair -- walked into SunTrust Bank at 4323 Ringgold Road in Chattanooga and announced a robbery using a demand note.

A little more than a week later on July 8, the woman entered another Chase Bank establishment at 2350 Cheshire Bridge Road in Atlanta. She attempted to rob the bank, but did not receive any money and left the business.

On Saturday, July 8, 2017, at approximately 10:40 a.m., a lone black female entered the Navy Federal Credit Union, located at 1300 Barrett Parkway in Kennesaw, and presented a demand note announcing a robbery. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the robber departed the bank without further incident.

Fulton County Jail records show Ware has been charged robbery and criminal attempt to commit robbery while Adams faces only one count of robbery.

They were both booked into the facility on Aug. 10 where they remain held.
