3 Puppies Thrown From Truck In Sandy Springs
Police are looking for the vehicle and person accused of tossing the three pups out in the area of Roberts and Lexington drives.
SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- The Sandy Springs Police Department is asking residents to help them track down the person accused of dumping three puppies along a street on the north side of the city.
The agency received a call just after 9 a.m. Saturday, July 1 that someone "threw three puppies out of a black Toyota pickup truck" in the area of Roberts and Lexington Drive.
According to its Facebook page, police said several residents pulled over and kept the puppies on the side of the road so they would not get hit by a passing vehicle.

The department reached out to Belle Isle Animal Hospital, which agreed to take in the puppies for care.
