3. Josh Brolin Sells $4 Million Atlanta Estate After Slashing Price and Admitting He Didn't 'Particularly Like' the Neighborhood (beaumontenterprise.com) — A high-end Sandy Springs estate just sold for $4 million, after actor Josh Brolin cut nearly $1 million from his original asking price. The detailed look inside the seven-bedroom property highlights the kind of luxury homes tucked just outside Atlanta, even as Brolin admits the neighborhood wasn't his style and heads back to California.
4. Why Chastain Park neighbors are calling a Halloween concert a safety nightmare (fox5atlanta.com) — A Halloween-night concert at Chastain Park has nearby residents worried about traffic and safety for trick-or-treaters, and organizers are now coordinating plans with Atlanta and Sandy Springs officials. Neighbors say narrow, sidewalk-free streets could become dangerous if more than 6,000 concertgoers arrive during peak candy hours, and they're pushing for stronger traffic controls or a date change.
