Armed Carjacker To Victim: "Thank You, Sir"
Sandy Springs police say the suspect carjacked the motorist in the parking lot of the Fountain Oaks Shopping Center.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- Sandy Springs detectives continue to follow up on leads in the case of a polite suspect who who carjacked a motorist outside a grocery store.
Officers with the police department were dispatched around 7 a.m. Sept. 27 to Kroger in the Fountain Oaks Shopping Center at 4920 Roswell Road.
Officers met with the victim, an employee of the grocery store, who said he was sitting inside his car, a 2013 grey Chrysler 300, when he heard a tap on the window.

The man said he opened the door and a suspect brandished a gun, which was described as a black semi-automatic 9-millimeter handgun, according to an incident report released by the Sandy Springs Police Department.
The suspect directed the motorist to get out of the vehicle and walk to the back of the Chrysler 300. The employee, according to the report, said the suspect stated "do what I tell you" and demanded the keys to the vehicle.

After obtaining the keys, the suspect allegedly shook the motorist's hand and said "thank you, sir" before fleeing the scene.
The suspect was last seen driving northbound on Roswell Road towards Interstate 285.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his mid to late 40's "who spoke clear English," about 5'11'' tall and had an average build. He was also wearing a black windbreaker jacket, baseball-style hat and blue jeans.
