Former President Jimmy Carter is out of surgery and recovering at Emory University Hospital, The Carter Center announced Tuesday. According to the center, there were no complications from the surgery due to a subdural hematoma.

DeKalb County School District needs a new superintendent after the Board of Education voted to approve a separation agreement with Superintendent Dr. R. Stephen Green, reports 11Alive. The agreement was effective immediately after the vote Monday.
