“While it’s bittersweet to say goodbye to Sandy Springs, we’re excited to honor five wonderful years in the neighborhood with one last bash this year,” said Stephanie Castellucci, co-owner of CHG and general manager of Double Zero.
Earlier this year, Double Zero announced its move into the previously occupied Ink & Elm space in Emory Village, located in Druid Hills. The new space is currently under redevelopment by local design firm, ai3, and is on track to open to the public in July 2016. Until then, Double Zero’s Sandy Springs location will remain open.
Since opening in May 2011, Double Zero has become a popular destination for southern Italian fare in Sandy Springs. In the new location, chef Molina will continue to lead menu development, showcasing his evolving cooking style and taking Double Zero in a new and exciting direction.
While a selection of handmade pasta and Neapolitan pizza will continue to be served in the new space, the rest of the menu will be redesigned with more attention brought to unique Italian small plates and large shareable dishes.
