Double Zero Napoletana Closes Aug. 6 in Sandy Springs
The restaurant, which opened in May 2011, will relocate to Emory Village.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- If you're a fan of Double Zero Napoletana's southern Italian fare, then you have just a few more hours to grab a meal at the establishment before it shuts down in Sandy Springs.
The restaurant at 5825 Roswell Road, which has been open since May 2011, will hold its final weekend rush Aug. 5-6 in the city. The closure will follow the dinner service on Saturday, Aug. 6. Hours on both days are 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Double Zero is planning to pack its bags and move into the previously occupied Ink & Elm space in Emory Village, located in the heart of Druid Hills inside the Perimeter.

Double Zero’s new location will showcase a refreshed menu and aesthetic, featuring a mix of contemporary and traditional Italian elements, Castellucci Hospitality Group, the company behind the restaurant, previously said.
“We’re excited to announce the relocation of Double Zero to Emory Village,” CHG President Federico Castellucci III previously said. “We’ve enjoyed serving the Sandy Springs community over the past five years and want to thank our patrons for helping us succeed since day one. The Roswell Road property has been sold and we’re thrilled to take this opportunity to create a new menu, look and feel for our brand.”

Since opening in May 2011, Double Zero has become a popular destination for southern Italian cuisine in Sandy Springs. In the new location, executive chef Edwin Molina will continue to lead menu development, showcasing his evolving cooking style and taking Double Zero in a new and exciting direction.
While a selection of handmade pasta and Neapolitan pizza will continue to be served in the new space, the rest of the menu will be redesigned with more attention brought to unique Italian small plates and large shareable dishes.
“We look forward to introducing Double Zero’s lively atmosphere, high-quality service and distinctive culinary talent to Emory Village,” said Stephanie Castellucci, co-owner of CHG and general manager of Double Zero. “While we hope that our loyal Sandy Springs guests will visit us in Emory Village, we’re eager to embrace a new neighborhood crowd brand with a fresh setting and revived food and beverage program.”
The move was tentatively scheduled to take place in June, but Double Zero said in a July 19 Facebook post that the move will happen later this month.
"We've enjoyed serving the amazing #SandySprings (sic) community over the past five years and want to thank our patrons for helping us succeed since day one," the restaurant said. "We couldn’t have done it without you!"
