Act 3 Productions’ New A Cappella Group, “Unaccompanied Minors”, to Perform Sunday, July 31

Act 3 Productions, the professional-level community theater based in Sandy Springs, has formed a new a cappella group, “Unaccompanied Minors” directed by Greg Windle. The group will hold its first performance, “Desperate Measures” on Sunday, July 31 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased at www.act3productions.org.
A cappella is the art of solo or group singing without accompaniment by musical instruments. The adults and teens who comprise “Unaccompanied Minors” are currently completing a workshop led by Windle, president of the University of Georgia’s Accidentals all-male a cappella group. Although classically trained, Windle is equally passionate about pop, rock and jazz music, and is conducting the workshop in the style of the TV shows “Glee” and “The Sing-Off”. Unaccompanied Minors will perform songs by Kesha, Backstreet Boys, Train and others.
