Act 3 Productions, the professional-level community theater based in Sandy Springs, will present “Beauty and the Beast, Jr.”, a re-working of the popular Broadway musical for younger cast members and audiences. Performances are March 16-18 and March 23-25 at 8 p.m. Thursdays – Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays.
The story follows Belle, who becomes a captive in the Beast’s enchanted castle. Only true love can break the spell and turn the Beast into a handsome prince. Dancing flatware, menacing wolves, and singing furniture fill the stage with thrills in this beloved fairy tale about very different people finding strength in one another and learning how to love. www.act3productions.org
