Act 3 Productions Presents New Improvisation Comedy Troupe in Performance

SANDY SPRINGS, GA – Act 3 Productions, the professional-level community theater based in Sandy Springs, will present an evening of improv by its new Improvisational Comedy Troupe, March 4 and 10 at the Act 3 Playhouse.  The March 4 event is family-friendly and will be held at 6 p.m.  It will include a sneak peek at the upcoming performance of “Beauty and the Beast, Jr.”  The March 10 performance is appropriate for pre-teens and up, and will be held at 8 p.m.  www.act3productions.org.

 Improvisational theater, or “improv”, teaches actors to use learned skills to perform spontaneously.  Improv is often comedic and typically uses audience suggestions to contribute to the mood, content and direction of a performance.   The new Act 3 Improvisation comedy troupe is directed by Jesse Cramer, who has been involved in improvisational theater since 2006.
