By Wheel and By Wing is an original musical based on the Parnes family's escape during World War II. Not your typical holocost story, this remarkable tale follows the journey of a family with 7 children as they vow to stay together at all costs after they are forced to flee from their home. This story of love, loyalty, spirit and history has something for everyone.
Written and composed by a team of local teens, under the creative direction of award-winning playwright Corey-Jan Albert, the staged reading of this work garnered rave reviews. An anonymous audience member was so moved by the story that he became a theater angel and donated a substantial sum to bring the production to life as a full-scale professional musical.
In addition to the evening performances listed above, there will be Sunday matinees* at 3 pm on June 24, July 1. Many performances are already sold out.
