Arts & Entertainment

Sandy Springs Artsapalooza

In honor of the founding of the city of Sandy Springs, AFFPS will hold an inaugural two day outdoor fair to celebrate on the site of the proposed new City Center.  Imagine the transformation of the former Target property and adjacent Johnson Ferry Road turned into a site filled with art, craft and carnival attractions for children.  This event has the potential to bring together art lovers, families, neighbors and visitors to discover just what Sandy Springs has to offer. Visitors will enjoy a summer weekend stroll through the Artist Market on July 7-8, 2012.  There is plenty to see and do with 150 artists and artisans lining the festival route, plus a children’s area, gourmet foods and local acoustic music.  The event is easy to find from Roswell Road and I-285.  There is plenty of parking, and is free to attend.

Location: 180 Johnson Ferry Road NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328

Times: Sat., July 7, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.    Sun., July 8, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
