FBI Seeks To Identify Wells Fargo Bank Robbery Suspect

The man is accused of targeting four Wells Fargo banking institutions, including one on Roswell Road in Sandy Springs.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- The FBI Atlanta Field Office is once again ask the public to help investigators identify a man accused of robbing banks across metro Atlanta and Jacksonville, Florida.

The subject, the FBI states, has robbed four Wells Fargo branches using a demand note. Three of those banks were located in metro Atlanta and one was reported in Jacksonville, Florida.

The robber is described as a black male with a slim build and about 5'5'' to 5'7'' tall. Surveillance footage shows he appears to wear a baseball cap sporting the Nike symbol in each of the incidents.

Wells Fargo institutions targeted by the suspect are:

  • Dec. 9, 2016: 293 Pharr Road NE, Atlanta
  • Dec. 24, 2016: 6300 Roswell Road NE, Sandy Springs
  • Dec. 29, 2016, 1562 Atlantic Boulevard, Jacksonville
  • April 11: 2204 Peachtree Road NE, Atlanta

This latest plea for the public's help follows the FBI on April 12 issuing the same request for a man accused of targeting another Wells Fargo bank on Dec. 28 at 124 Glenridge Parkway in Sandy Springs. FBI agents believe that same suspect is behind a similar robbery reported in Chattanooga.

The FBI also states Wells Fargo is offering a reward of up to $5,000 to anyone with information leading to the identification and apprehension of the suspect.
