Roswell Road Reopens In Sandy Springs Following Gas Leak

UPDATE at 3 p.m. The city of Sandy Springs said all lanes along Roswell Road have reopened.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- A gas leak has closed a portion of Roswell Road in Sandy Springs. The major thoroughfare is closed in both directions between Hammond and Hilderbrand drives, the police department said.

Motorists are directed to use Boylston Drive or Sandy Springs Circle as alternate routes. This is a developing story, so return to Patch for updates.
