The fourth grade will be planting many vegetables, such as tomatoes, broccoli and others.

High Point students have been focusing on this question, “How can we, as members of the High Point community, promote healthy eating while simultaneously improving the overall appearance of our campus?”

The class spent the last days of the school year working hard to make this garden the best it can be, High Point officials said.

“The school is very excited to start this project as it can help other kids eat healthier and improve the school’s appearance,” the school added.

In other High Point Elementary news, the school earlier this month held its Great Egg Drop for fifth-grade students.

Teams work hard to use science to determine the best way to protect an egg so it does not break when dropped from high in the sky. Comcast provided the bucket truck to launch the eggs from above to students who waited eagerly below on the ground to see which eggs did not break.
