On the April 8 report, Cozy Corner Cafe was mostly cited for the same violations found during the April 1 inspection:
- Kitchen handsink still not accessible.
- Observed dented canned good on shelf for service. Never use dented/damaged canned goods.
- Raw shell eggs and raw meat still stored improperly above ready to eat food.
- Stored food still not labeled to identify contents.
- Observed pasta salad stored on hot table at room temp improperly. Any salad with a mayonnaise must be stored cold 41 degrees or lower.
- Open bulk food still not protected. Observed closed with rubber band. Facility advised to use plastic wrap, sealed bag or covered container.
- Food still handled without a head cover.
- Observed wrong inspection score posted. Facility must only post the most recent inspection score.
- Sinks still used for other purposes.
- Cardboard boxes still used as storage boxes.
- Floor still dirty under equipment/holes still not covered.
