Leadership Sandy Springs Announces Class of 2017
The class, the largest yet for the organization, will officially begin on Thursday, Sept. 8.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- Thirty-six individuals have been selected to participate in the 2017 class of Leadership Sandy Springs, a professional leadership organization that develops, educates and connects community and business leaders in the Sandy Springs and Central Perimeter area.
The class will officially launch its year on Thursday, Sept. 8 at the annual LSS Fiesta Kickoff at Heritage Sandy Springs.
Representing the largest Leadership Sandy Springs class yet, the new members represent diverse backgrounds and industry sectors including large and small business, government, hospitality, finance, healthcare, nonprofit, education, engineering, construction and other professional areas.

Class members will begin their year of leadership development training with an intensive team-building retreat in the north Georgia mountains later in September. Sessions throughout the year will focus on various aspects of how Sandy Springs works and will include discussions and interactive activities on a number of topics, such as local and state government, human services, business, environment and regional challenges.
