Leadership Sandy Springs Now Accepting Applications
Leadership Sandy Springs develops, educates and connects individuals who live or work in Sandy Springs and want to be engaged and involved.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — Leadership Sandy Springs is accepting applicants for its Class of 2021, a nine-month leadership program that develops, educates and connects individuals who live or work in Sandy Springs and want to be engaged, involved and make a difference in their community.
Information about the program and the application is available on the organization’s website. Applications are due March 29 and candidates will be notified by early May.
According to Program Director Catherine Lautenbacher, “Leadership Sandy Springs tries to select a diverse and inclusive class and intentionally keeps the class small (about 36) to encourage relationship building through activities and projects that are thought-provoking and fun. We educate class members on the many facets of Sandy Springs, give them mentors, and help them find a place in our community where they have a passion and want to contribute.”

“Our current class and nearly 800 alumni will tell you they most value the friendships they make and the opportunities they find to connect, volunteer and foster a sense of community.”
