Group To Host Seminar On Child Sexual Abuse Prevention

April is Child [Sexual] Abuse Prevention Month. A CSA prevention training will be held --April 27 -- at the Sandy Springs Police Department

It is timely that “Spotlight” won Best Picture. There is a very poignant line in the movie that highlights societies complacency for the crime of child sexual abuse: “If it takes a village to raise a child, it takes a village to abuse one.”

Fortunately the city of Sandy Springs has an opportunity to address the issue and learn how to prevent the crime. The Sandy Springs Police Department has provided the venue and you can attend a prevention training on April 27.

Please see the linked invitation which extends to anyone who lives or works in Sandy Springs and has a role in the supervision of children – as a parent, nanny, relative, friend, grandparent, teacher, or any youth-serving organization. If you would like to learn how to prevent child sexual abuse in our community, click on Prevent Child Sexual Abuse.
