The 11th Movies by Moonlight, presented by Leadership Sandy Springs, was a “grand old time“ that attracted a broad cross-section of the Sandy Springs community, the organization said on Tuesday.

Numerous corporate, nonprofit, school, and faith-based sponsors, vendors and volunteers as well as the city of Sandy Springs made this free event possible with its support of what’s been called the “best block party in Sandy Springs.”
Even the unusually wet, fall weather didn’t stop the final event from happening, despite the need to reschedule the final show twice.

New this year on the Midway were exotic cars from Caffeine and Octane as well as food vendors such as Chick-Fil-A and That Pie Place.
Furkids Animal Rescue brought the cutest adoptable puppies and Medieval Times featured princesses, and knights who presented sword fighting demonstrations.
At the “Cinderella” event, which was Movies By Moonlight’s final installment, a look-alike princess posed with children and families and kept attendees delighted and busy until show time.
Leadership Sandy Springs said it looks forward to planning and executing next summer’s event series.
