Movies By Moonlight Rescheduled To Oct. 16

Despite the recent weather setbacks, Leadership Sandy Springs is hoping it can squeeze in the final film of its annual Movies By Moonlight Series.

“Cinderella,” the live-action remake of the 1950’s animated classic, will be shown the evening of Friday, Oct. 16, 2015, on the lawn of Sandy Springs United Methodist Church Activities Center.

Movie fans are encouraged to come in costume, if desired.

Known as the Best Block Party in Sandy Springs, this free event brings back the nostalgia and fun of the outdoor cinema with concessions, games and food. The event kicks off at 6 p.m. and the movies are shown at dark on a huge inflatable screen.

Guests have free range of family-friendly games in the Kids Zone, including inflatable jumpy houses, tumbling activities, exploration of Sandy Springs Fire-Rescue vehicles, memberships and giveaways with Cinemoms, a movie club for parents, a live princess with Look-Alikes and Character Entertainment, novelty items, giveaways, goodies and drawings with various vendors.
