Two New Faces Join ALS Association's Board of Directors
Nicole Hart Keaton and Angela McPike are now members of Sandy Springs-based The ALS Association – Georgia Chapter's Board of Directors.
Atlanta, GA (July 21, 2015) – The ALS Association – Georgia Chapter is pleased to announce that Nicole Hart Keaton and Angela McPike have been named to its Board of Directors. Each will contribute a unique skillset to the nonprofit organization dedicated to the fight against amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, otherwise known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease.
Nicole Hart Keaton has held key senior leadership and advisory roles, most recently serving as a Senior Vice President of SunTrust Bank where she has spent eight years of her career. Nicole has nearly 20 years’ experience in Information Technology (IT) strategically planning and leading comprehensive cross-organizational initiatives in support of business goals and objectives within Financial Services, Insurance, Retail, and Healthcare Technology market segments. Keaton received her Bachelor of Science from Kennesaw State University, with a minor in Information Security Assurance and holds an Executive Masters in Management Information Technology from Georgia State University.
Angela McPike has worked in healthcare marketing and communications for 22 years. She currently serves as the Chief Marketing Officer for Tenet Healthcare Corporation’s Southern Region. Her experience includes brand creation and stewardship, targeted consumer engagement initiatives, marketing automation and growth strategies across complex, matrix organizations. McPike earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science and psychology from Emory University and a Master of Arts in Public Administration from the University of Houston.

The ALS Association – Georgia Chapter is the only nationally affiliated not-for-profit health organization dedicated solely to the fight against Lou Gehrig’s Disease. The Sandy Springs-based organization, which is at 5881 Glenridge Drive, provides patient consultations, a medical equipment loan program, patient and caregiver support groups, and support for ALS clinics in Atlanta, Augusta and Macon. The local chapter also joins with chapters across the country to support research and participate in federal advocacy initiatives.
