North Springs played host to North Atlanta in a Region 5A-AAA tennis match Tuesday with the Spartans claiming victory while dropping only one match in the process. The Lady Spartans took all five points in their matches with No. 1 doubles partners, Leigha Hinds and Annie Brandt leading the way with an 8-6 pro-set win.  Senior captain Ashley Bynum put point No. 2 on the board with an 8-0 wash.  Freshman Isabel Formby clinched the match with a hotly contested tiebreaker win, 9-8 (7-5). In boys' play, North Springs swept in singles as senior captain Brian Brandt along with juniors Web Mulenga and Lloyd George took their pro-sets 8-1, 8-0 and 8-4 respectively.  Spartan netters are now 4-1 in region play. Up next on the schedule, a home date with Towers on Tuesday, March 15.
