Police Identify Sandy Springs Shooting Victims

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, but the male victim remains in critical, yet stable, condition.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- The Sandy Springs Police Department continues to work leads and tips in a double shooting that left one woman dead and a man injured on the north side of the city.

Those victims in the shooting have been identified as Sierra Ford, 25, and 21-year-old Tyrique Lobban, spokesperson Capt. Mike Lindstrom said Monday.

Ford was pronounced dead at the scene of the shooting, which took place around 3 a.m. Friday, Nov. 25 at 165 North River Drive.

Lobban remains in critical, but stable, condition at the hospital, Lindstrom added.

"Detectives are looking at robbery as a possible motive and they are continuing to investigate several credible leads," he said.
