Riverwood's Running Raiders Performed Well at Saturday Track Meet
Led by senior James Ryden, who was ninth overall, the team placed three runners in the top 20 at the Bob Blastow Early Bird Invitational on Saturday morning.

Riverwood Boys Cross Country started the new season with a strong second place finish at the Bob Bastow Early Bird Invitational on Saturday morning. The Running Raiders placed ahead of Woodward Academy, who placed fourth.
Led by senior James Ryden, who was ninth overall, the team placed three runners in the top 20 with senior Said Hernandez placing 13th and junior Connor McDaniel, 17.
The Lady Running Raiders started the season without the veteran runners of the last two years. Still, co-captain Nicole Bills finished first. The freshman trio of Maggie Duncan, Maddie Keith and Lauren Rasmus along with co-captain Carlyn Pounders, senior Yenifer Gregorio and sophomore Maital Kaminer all had good outings.
