Running into a new season of Wellbeing + Fundraising
Medical Sports + Massage CEO kicks off the season of activations to raise awareness for their not-for-profit Hands to Heal GA.

What if you can make an impact on those who are experiencing stress and anxiety syndrome? This upcoming season, sandy springs wellness director and medical and sports massage CEO, Denise Leslie is igniting a series of activities to raise funds and awareness for Hands to Heal GA. It's an initiative to alleviate the physical and emotional impacts of stress & anxiety through medical massage, restorative yoga, guided meditation, and journaling. Through these treatments, patients will be able to physically release tension, caused by trigger points, and develop skills to cope with emotional and mental pain.
Denise Leslie, is kicking off their fundraiser with a series of events starting with a race, being held on August 14th at 9 am at Kenmore Park. This fundraiser will aid her mission in bringing healing services to these teens and young adults, who currently do not have the tools to improve their quality of life.
She mentions, “Working with youth who struggle because of high stress and anxiety between the ages of 12-24 is a gift. My organization and amazing staff of therapists will be working with the central nervous system through massage therapy to reduce high cortisol levels, and as a result, take the strain off the adrenal glands, which will result in reduced stress on the organs, and restore the emotional health of our patients….I am honored to be able to do my part in these trying days we live in. With your help, we can spread the good news, get more organizations involved and make a long-lasting impact in the lives of youth that will forever give them positive lifestyle techniques so they can grow and make their mark in this beautiful world.”
There are currently multiple ways to get involved as an individual and an organization, as well as sponsoring a young adult's journey in this clinical trial.
