The event culminates collaboration between neighboring communities, the Conservancy and the Foundation, bringing 18 Bosque Elm trees and more than 100 Trident Maples to be planted along Johnson Ferry Road. The idea of planting trees at this location was sparked by the neighbors’ desire to replace trees lost in the widening of Johnson Ferry Road.
The Sandy Springs Conservancy, UPS and The UPS Foundation worked with the neighbors to make the desire of added greenery a reality.
