Slope's BBQ of Sandy Springs Set To Reopen June 1
The business has been closed since mid-December due to a fire that heavily damage the restaurant on Johnson Ferry Road.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- A popular Sandy Springs restaurant whose facility was damaged due to a fire late last year says it should be reopening its doors any time now.
Slopes BBQ of Sandy Springs posted Friday on its Facebook page that its "long national nightmare is nearing an end."
"Barring any unseen developments, Slope's BBQ of Sandy Springs should be reopening on Wednesday, June 1," the company said. "Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend and remember any orders can still be made through our Alpharetta store. Thanks for sticking with us and we can't wait to see you all soon."

The Dec. 16, 2015, fire heavily damaged the restaurant on Johnson Ferry Road, and forced the company to temporarily relocate its operations to the Alpharetta location at 5865 Gateway Drive.
A GoFundMe campaign launched following the blaze raised just over $10,000, money which was used to help the make up for the monetary losses employees have suffered due to the fire.
