Woman, 18, Pleads Guilty in Craigslist Murder
Daniel Zeitz, who was selling his PlayStation 4 on the website, was killed when he refused to hand over the console.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- An 18-year-old woman has entered a guilty plea in the September 2014 shooting death of a man looking to sell his gaming console on Craigslist.
Kayla Dixon, who was 16 at the time of the fatal shooting, pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter, concealing the death of another, robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, the Fulton County District Attorney's Office said late Monday.
Fulton County Superior Court Judge Wendy Schoob sentenced Dixon to 40 years in prison, the office added.

Dixon's co-defendant, Nathaniel Vivian, is set to go to trial on July 29.
The events unfolded on Sept. 12, 2014, when the pair planned to meet 28-year-old Daniel Zeitz in the parking lot of his apartment complex to complete the transaction on his PlayStation 4, which had been posted on Craigslist.

Prosecutors contend Dixon and Vivian planned to rob Zeitz of his console. The co-defendants drove to the apartment complex and shortly after they arrived, Vivian tried to wrestle control of the PlayStation without paying the $280 Zeitz requested.
When the victim refused to give up the gaming console, Dixon told authorities she brandished a .25 caliber handgun from her lap and fired at Zeitz, who was standing outside the vehicle during the altercation.
Zeitz was shot in the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene. Vivian was shot in the hand from the same projectile that fatally wounded Zeitz. The shooting took place in front of Dixon’s one-year old daughter, police previously told Patch.
Vivian sought treatment at Northside Hospital for his hand injury. Police were called to the hospital when Vivian stated he had been wounded during a robbery where he was the victim.
After interviewing both Vivian and Dixon, detectives discovered several inconsistencies with their stories. Within hours, they were identified as the suspects in Zeitz's death.
