🌱 2 Teens Injured In Shooting + Unity Walk At Daffin Park

First, today's weather:

Here are the top stories today in Savannah:

  1. According to Savannah police, two teens were injured in a shooting Monday night at the 8000 Waters Apartments. The Savannah Police Department says the two 17-year-olds drove to Memorial Health around 10:40 p.m. with non-life-threatening injuries and they are currently unaware of what stemmed from the Nov. 22 shooting.   2. Dr. Ray Rudolph is organizing a Unity Walk at Daffin Park this Saturday, Nov. 27 to promote unity within the community. It's an event for anyone yearning for unity at this time. Dr. Rudolph joined Morning Break to share details about this weekend's event. (WTOC)
  3. Nancy's Heart joined forces with 94.1 THE BEAT and Savannah-born Instagram influencer, Jayda Cheaves to give away turkeys for the second year in a row. (WTOC)
  4. The coldest weather of the season will move into the Savannah area tonight. There will be lows in the lower-30s for areas along and west of I-95 with lower-40s at the beach. Frost is likely for most areas. (WJCL News)

The city of Savannah is kicking off the holiday season this coming weekend with the annual tree lighting on Friday, Nov. 26, and the city will join Chabad of Savannah for the lighting of the Menorah this Sunday, Nov. 28. The first candle will be lit at 5 p.m. in Ellis Square to celebrate the beginning of Hanukkah. (WTOC)
