Hey, people of Savannah! It's me again, Sammi Caramela, your host of the Savannah Daily.

First, today's weather:

Clouds breaking and warmer. High: 61 Low: 37.

Here are the top three stories today in Savannah:

  1. The Bonaventure Cemetery After Dark event will take place on Dec. 25 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Shannon Scott, the master storyist, will be giving a cemetery tour with compelling tales. Guests will also receive a signed poster art by Scott to remember the evening. (Connect Savannah.com)
  2. DOCSavannah and Savannah Arts Academy honor youth in the LGBTQIA+ community with a new mural. "HOME" is inspired by the documentary 'Pier Kids.' DOCSavannah developed this project to address the social issues raised in the documentary, as well as celebrate the diversity in the city. (Savannah Morning News)
  3. Recycle your Christmas tree at Savannah/Hilton Head airport as part of the Bring One for the Chipper event. The recycling event, run by the Keep Georgia Beautiful Foundation, will run from Dec. 26 to Jan. 8. (WSAV-TV)
