- Savannah Children's Museum is hosting Bug Fest this weekend. The event is meant to celebrate the smallest inhabitants - squirmy creepy crawlers. The museum is turned into a wonderful world of bugs to educate Savannah's children on their importance to the world's ecosystem. Coastal Heritage Society members get in for free. (WTOC)
- The Savannah Philharmonic will be playing Story Under the Stars this Sunday for the community. The performance will be in Forsyth Park and will be directed by Amy Williams. Attendees will enjoy inspiring stories paired with beautiful music. (WTOC)
- The Chatham County Health Department has lifted a beach water advisory for Tybee South Beach. The water is tested by the Department of Natural Resources - Coastal Resources Division throughout the year for enterococcus bacteria. The bacteria is found in both humans and local wildlife.
