- Neighbors in Savannah's Victorian District are on high alert after a string of cat killings. Residents say half a dozen cats have been killed in recent weeks. According to neighbors, a pack of feral dogs is to blame. (WJCL News)
- Savannah-Chatham County Public School System is considering additional transportation options for their students after having no room for thousands of kids to ride the bus. The district is starting to explore those options for some students, but first, they are sending out a survey asking parents to provide their transportation needs. (WTOC)
- A bomb threat prompted immediate evacuation at Beach High School in Savannah on Thursday. Students returned safely to their classes after the situation was assessed. (WSAV-TV)
- The Savannah Music Festival will be presenting its October concert series from October 19-October 24 featuring chamber music, bluegrass, and more. (Savannah Morning News)
