Here are the top three stories today in Savannah:

  1. Get ready to laugh! There are five comedians coming to Savannah this year. The next show will be today, Feb. 11, at 8 p.m. at the Savannah Civic Center featuring comedian Leanne Morgan. John Mulaney, Tom Segura, Mike Epps, and Jo Koy are all scheduled to appear in the Savannah area over the next few weeks. (WSAV-TV)
  2. Savannah City Council discussed more details about proposed changes to St. Patrick's Day celebrations in Savannah. City leaders presented three changes for the council to consider and vote on at the next meeting. Check out the proposed changes and recommendations in the link. (WTOC)
  3. Savannah police officers are being celebrated after saving a drowning woman who had jumped off a bridge this past Tuesday. Officers were called to the Forest River Bridge, at Abercorn Street and Heroes Way, after a person saw a shoeless woman leaning far over the bridge. Officers retrieved the woman from the water and she was treated at the scene. (WJCL News Savannah)
